Gotta say the (potentially) most exciting bout on tonight’s ShoMMA: Strikeforce Challengers Series card is the one between BC native Sarah Kaufman and Shayna “Queen of Spades” Baszler.

Kaufman’s (9-0) last fight just a month ago saw her school Meisha Tate for three impressive rounds, while Baszler (9-5) hasn’t fought since her devastating loss to Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos last July in EliteXC. Don’t expect Baszler to be soft, though, as she’s packed on a few pounds of muscle thanks to a weight lifting program designed by Josh Barnett. She’ll need it if she wants to dirty up Kaufman’s spotless record. Kaufman’s only weak link is in her ground game, something Baszler will surely try to exploit.
