Lesnar vs. Carwin at UFC 106

Let me preface this by saying none of this has been confirmed: Five Ounces of Pain is reporting that UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar will face Shane Carwin at November 21’s UFC 106, the same card that will see the return of Tito Ortiz against Mark Coleman.

Carwin is currently scheduled to face Cain Velasquez at UFC 104. The winner of that bout is/was expected to meet Lesnar. Word is Carwin gets Lesnar and Velasquez will stay on the UFC 104 card and face an as-yet-unnamed opponent.

Carwin, a 265-pound behemoth with knockout power and strong wrestling skills, is the best challenge for Lesnar (in the UFC). He’s 11-0 and is coming off an impressive knockout win over Gabriel Gonzaga. Lesnar will be defending his now-unified title following his beatdown of Frank Mir at UFC 100.
