Penn vs. Sanchez at UFC 107

BJ Penn has finally re-confirmed what I reported a month ago, that he would defend his UFC lightweight belt against Diego Sanchez in December at UFC 107. No breaking news, just a toldja-so. UFC president Dana White had indicated that the fight would be in November, likely at the already stacked UFC 106, which made me wonder if what Sanchez’s trainer, Saulo Ribeiro, had told me was true. Turns out I should never doubt Ribeiro, on the mats or off.

BTW, UFC 107 on December 12 is also when The Ultimate Fighter 10 coaches, Rashad Evans and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, are expected to square off.
