UFC Fight Night war wounds

Last night’s UFC fight’s were ugly. Above is Nate Quarry, who won his Fight Night 19 bout with Tim Credeur despite getting turned into Sloth from The Goonies.

Here’s that shoulder-snapping kimura Gray Maynard slapped on Roger Huerta. And Huerta did not tap. Here’s what Maynard said about it afterward:
“On tape? It’s like, Ah, I’m gonna pick him apart. But when you get in there, it’s a little bit different. All kinds of stuff coming from weird angles, he’s a tough kid. I heard (his shoulder) pop a couple of times, I was like ‘Hey it’s poppin’.’ I guess I could have tweaked it a little harder but he did a good job. He’s a tough kid, a warrior. It was a tough fight.”

And in a “which is worse” competition, above is Justin Bucholz, who received a fight-stopping gash in his preliminary bout with Jeremy Stephens, while below is Ultimate Fighter loser Abe Wagner, who was opened up by Jon Madsen but finished the fight a pint low.
