Couture vs. Vera II set for Friday

The most-interesting fight on Friday’s Strikeforce Challengers V card isn’t the headliner between undefeated wrestling sensation Tyron Woodley and Rudy Bears. And it’s not the bout between Anderson Silva and Minotauro Nogueira pupil Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante and Aaron Rosa. It’s the female version of the UFC 105 main event featuring Brandon Vera’s wife, Kerry Vera, and Kim Couture, the ex-wife of Randy Couture. It’s gimmicky, something Couture says she wishes Strikeforce had played up more in promoting the event, and she promised it won’t be a big ol’ hug fest like her ex’s bout.
