Renzo Gracie not fighting Matt Hughes first

Another little tidbit that came out of my Matt Serra interview is that Renzo Gracie, the PRIDE vet who awarded Serra his black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, will not be fighting Matt Hughes in his long-awaited UFC debut as was widely believed. Serra indicated that Hughes would actually be Gracie’s second opponent, and although he was not sure who would be first the fight is still expected for UFC 109, the same card his Serra’s fight with Frank Trigg.
