You knew he wasn’t going to just go away. Like herpes, we’re stuck with Tito Ortiz. And while I fully expected him to fight again, I’d have put money on him facing Chuck Liddell for a third time, or maybe a rubber match with Forrest Griffin. Not Matt Hamill.

Turns out the two will square off on an already fairly stacked UFC 121 card on October 23 that includes Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez, Diego Sanchez vs. Paulo Thiago, Jake Shields vs. Martin Kampmann, Patrick Cote vs. Tom Lawlor, Brendan Schaub vs. Gabriel Gonzaga, Todd Duffee vs. Jon Madsen, Sam Stout vs. Paul Taylor and Court McGee vs. Ryan Jensen.
